Managing the community

Subareas

The Community is a website with subareas which contain text pages, forums, link treasuries, file archives and other features, in addition to the tools on hte topbar. The administrator defines the number and the name of the subareas.

When a Community is created it contains the News sub-area by default. In addition, each Community has, reacheable via the topbar:

  • Admin Page
  • Chat
  • Members Page
  • General Forum
  • Shared Calendar
  • Mailbox
  • Bulletin Board

Changing features of your Community

The administrator can change the community by editing pages, adding/deleting messages in the forum, adding new subareas and features like forums, text pages, file archives and link treasuries. S/he can also delete files in the file archives and links in the link treasury.

All this can be done using the tools on the Edit page.
