My name is Cathrin Ljungberg and I’m 17 years old. I live in Halmstad and I’ve lived here all my life. My mother has lived in Halmstad all her live. And my father lived in Falkenberg when he was young. But now my father lives in Halmstad too. I go to Falkenbergs high school. I like it, but one thing is bad about it. Falkenberg is far away from Halmstad so I have a long way to travel every day.
I think Falkenberg is a bad place for teenagers. Because it’s a small place to grow up in. I think kids in Halmstad grow up much quicker than other kids. I think it’s because you’ve go to look after yourself there.
When I come home from school I often do my homework, and after that I go to my friends. And I work in church. I’m a leader for juniors and that is a lot of fun I think. And I often sit by the computer and chat with people.
I’ve go to be back home 22:30-23:00 when it’s school the next day.
I’ve go a study allowance, but my parents give me money sometimes. I spend my money at the weekend, most on candy and sometimes on clothes.
On a Saturday my friends and I often go into the city. The city in Halmstad is lovely because there are so many good shops there. For example, there is a great shop called Vero Moda. The only problem with Halmstad is that it’s boring at the weekend.
When I leave school, I want to be a Confectioner. But first I will study In Gothenburg at the college of confectionery and restaurant.
