Aware of the general situation created by the 9/11 events and according to the annual horizontal priority “C”: Stability and security” (general European Commission priority), the following project focuses on the deepening of intercultural and multireligious dialogue and cooperation, proposing: 1. Researches about a rather unknown and unexplored root of modern Europe: the “melting” of Jewish, Moslem and Christian civilization throughout the centuries, in history, philosophy, art, science, agriculture etc. 2. Researches about Mediterranean, European-African-Middle East connections in generating and influencing modern Europe. 3. Concretely: a) to achieve a better knowledge and understanding of those three great religions b) to discover and explore their presence in the partners’ local communities c) to explore the role of those religions in the European history d) to explore the importance of the great religions for the development of modern European thinking and living e) to involve the local communities and institutions in the understanding of different civilisations f) to involve the local communities in the understanding of the importance of tolerance regarding different religions and civilisations g) to explore the impact of different religions on development of the women’s rights h) to involve the educational community, parents associations etc. in the communication of the project result i) to learn to respect diversity and to consider it not a threat but a resource j) to be able to communicate in English 1) b) EXPECTED IMPACT aa) on pupils - correction of individual and general prejudices and stereotypes - interest and curiosity in other religious communities - capacity to communicate in a common vehicular language - interest to share experiences, thoughts, opinions with pupils of other countries - capacity to verify the truth of opinions through researches - respect and tolerance for different religions and their members bb) on teachers - curiosity to better know different religions and their impact on history and life - spirit of cooperation and common research - spirit of reciprocal respect and tolerance - comparison of different value systems, traditions, holidays, rites cc) on the local and wider educational community - better knowledge of the multireligious and multicultural roots of modern Europe - contacts and partnerships with schools all over Europe - deeper awareness of the European dimension of education

Welcome to CoPhyLab the Physics on Stage School Network for Physics Experiments.
"CoPhyLab" that means a Collabortive Science Laboratory where students of european schools and universities will work in natural sciences and environmental issues.
The students will plan experiments at different places on the world and will practise them together via Internet.
